HVAC Contractor in Lakeshore
Heating, cooling and gas work across Lakeshore, from Belle River and Emeryville on the lake to Comber, Woodslee and the farms inland. One contractor for the whole job: HVAC installs for homes, and custom galvanized steel fabrication for other contractors.
Lake Homes and Country Roads
Lakeshore is a big municipality. It stretches along the south shore of Lake St. Clair through Emeryville, Belle River and Stoney Point, and reaches inland to communities like Comber, Woodslee and Puce, with a lot of farmland in between.
That spread means very different jobs. A new subdivision in Belle River, a cottage that became a full time home on the lake, and a farmhouse with a detached shop each need something different from their heating and cooling.
MDMC covers all of it from our Windsor shop. We are TSSA registered for gas, bonded and insured, and rated A+ by the BBB.

Shoreline moisture
Homes along Lake St. Clair deal with damp summer air. Properly sized cooling and good airflow keep the house dry and comfortable.
Converted cottages
Lakefront places that started as seasonal cottages often lack ducts or have ductwork that was added piece by piece. Mini splits or new duct runs are common fixes.
Rural properties
Farmhouses and country homes often have detached garages or shops that need their own heat and a longer gas line.
New subdivisions
Newer streets in Belle River and elsewhere have tight homes that benefit from HRVs and ERVs.
When There Are No Ducts
Plenty of Lakeshore homes along the water started life as summer places. Over time they were winterized, added onto and lived in year round, but the heating often stayed simple: baseboards, a wall heater or a small furnace with very little ductwork.
Ductless mini splits suit these homes well. Each indoor head heats and cools its own room or zone, and the outdoor unit sits outside on a pad or wall bracket. There is no need to open walls for large duct runs.
Where a full duct system makes more sense, we build it in our own shop and fit it to the house. We go over both choices with you at the visit.

Lakeshore HVAC Questions
Which parts of Lakeshore do you cover?
All of it, including Belle River, Emeryville, Stoney Point, Comber, Woodslee and Puce.
Can you heat my detached shop?
Yes. We install gas unit heaters and run the gas line out to the building.
My cottage has no ductwork. What are my options?
Ductless mini splits work well, or we can build and install new ductwork.
Do you install HRVs in new homes?
Yes. We install and service HRVs and ERVs.
Do I need a permit for gas work in Lakeshore?
Gas work follows TSSA rules and some jobs also need a municipal permit. We tell you at the visit.
How many rooms can one mini split system cover?
It depends on the system. Multi zone systems run several indoor heads from one outdoor unit. We size it at the visit.
Can you work on a home in Comber or Woodslee?
Yes. We cover inland Lakeshore as well as the lakefront communities.
